Dave has been saying

Dave feels on and off all week. On pain meds. Visiting nurses stopped by 2 times now. The incision is healing nicely. Two bags on now because the bladder is not working ... temporary because they were working down there. Then the other bag is staying on until after they are done with the Chemo. - even though it needs to be there for 3 months - he can't have surgery during chemo. Other than all that I am feeling pretty good right now. One of my friends says I was forcing myself to feel good the Tuesday after the hospital. Now it is more real. Our Oncology nurse says that next year we will look back and say "that was a shitty year" but in the end it will be okay.
